When and where are your sessions?
What level of players does HBC cater to?
We focus on intermediate and advanced players. Our club provides a competitive yet friendly environment, ideal for those who are already experienced in badminton.
Club nights are held on Mondays from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM at Hugh Christie School in Tonbridge. Our home matches are played at Walthamstow Hall in Sevenoaks.
Can beginners join, and how?
What are the membership costs?
We primarily cater to intermediate and advanced players but can recommend local beginner options. To start, contact Darrel, our Membership Secretary, via our website to arrange a trial session.
Membership is £140 per year. Match fees are £7 per match if you are playing for our teams. Students wishing to join the adult club enjoy 50% discount of club fees.
What are the club’s activities and season dates?
Is there a junior club?
We have 7 teams competing in the TWBL leagues and plan to expand as the club grows. Our main season runs from September to May. Additionally, we run a summer club for 8 weeks during July and August, with details available towards the end of the main season.
